Currently...

I swear the 'Currently' linkup that is put on by Farley from Oh' Boy Fourth Grade is one of my favourite things about teacher bloggers (and possibly the final push for me to join the ranks).

So without further ado, here is my currently for July. I'd also like to ad that I love the patriotic look of it, even though I'm not American.

Listening:
Jazz versions of Christmas carols. Yep, I'm one of those people who loves Christmas and will use any excuse to bask in all it's glory. That of course includes Christmas in July (which I celebrate all month, not just for one day. Don't worry it's only music and movies...and the occasional peppermint snack).

Loving:
Only three more days until winter break. I'm very much looking forward to staying snuggled up in bed for the next two weeks. Getting out of bed early in the morning is ten times harder in winter.

Thinking:
What to make for dinner. It's currently 4:40 pm here so I should probably get on this one pretty quickly....I'm thinking pumpkin soup.

Wanting:
To go to Disneyland Paris with my mum, dad and little sister. My sister is going to the Royal Ballet School Summer Programme, so Mum and Dad are taking her on a little trip around the UK, Ireland and France as well. Unfortunately they will be in Disneyland when the next term starts so I'm here, and they will be there...riding tea cups. Oh well maybe I'll save a little and go to Hong Kong at the end of the year.

Needing:
Prep for tomorrow. Luckily most of it is done, all I need to do is cut out some 'sun rays' ie. yellow triangles, and print off some worksheets. I can easily do this while watching Big Bang Theory tonight.

4th Plans:
Since I'm Australian (and don't celebrate 4th of July) my plans will involve celebrating the last day of term, farewelling our student teacher with a barbecue, and maybe a sneaky afterwork drink.

Keep it cute,

Stacey

  1. Hi Stacey! Great to 'meet' you. Hope you have a fantastic winter holiday and get to plan that trip away for later in the year. Enjoy the sneaky drink.
